We had our first Halloween with Adaline this year. I know I had more fun than she did, but she'll thank me for the photos one day ;P
Our good friends made scary jack-o-lanterns this year:
Next year, maybe we'll be able to go door-to-door with the rest of the kids! We were just too tiny this year.
Not only did we have a great afternoon, we had the most trick-or-treaters ever! I think we had 5 groups, with a total of at least 15 people! That makes it way more fun than in the past where we sit in anticipation and only have 1 or 2 people stop by. Hopefully it will continue next year :)
Happy Halloween, everyone!
Happy 34th anniversary, Mom and Dad! We had a great dinner celebrating my parents' anniversary last night. Lots of laughs and lots of love.
Thank you, Mom and Dad, for showing us a wonderful model of a marriage!
learned how to look around and find things! Okay, she actually learned this over a month ago, around the time Travis took this picture, but it's taken me forever to get it online. What?! We've been busy...CRAZY busy.
Ugh. Friday it was 90, AGAIN, for the third day in a row. Doesn't Mother Nature realize it's October 15?! We're all waiting ever so patiently for fall to come.
We had a quick photo shoot by Liz Evans of LizEStudio at a local pumpkin patch (and by local, I mean the one that's 5 houses down the street!) It was much to hot for the hooded-fleece ladybug costume, so I ran to Target and picked up a couple of items for a makeshift costume. Not too shabby if I do say so myself!
Poor Adaline, our appointment time was AT her bedtime. I think Liz was able to get a shot or two before the Meltdown. We'll see in a week or so, when the pictures are ready!
...on everything! If her pacifier isn't around, she'll use her feet or her hands. If we give her teething rings, she chews on them to help her teeth, but when she's done chewing, she goes right back to her paci.
My cousin Alisha and her son Leo came to visit today. We've been trying to find a time to visit for months, but between illnesses, moving, and more illnesses, it's taken forever! I've been looking forward to our visit and I felt so bad that I was so tired! Adaline, Travis and I had an expectedly busy morning and mid-day. By the time we met up in the afternoon, we were spent and over-stimualted! Hopefully we can meet up again soon.
