Leftover Pumpkins

We live half a block from a field that was rented by a pumpkin farmer.  He buys pumpkin seeds from around the world and plants multiple varieties of pumpkins.  There was a hopping pumpkin patch for the month of October (R.A.M. Farms), you could borrow the wheelbarrow and pick your own pumpkins!  We visited the pumpkin patch multiple times, but never walked the isles.
It rained off and on all day today, but we were able to squeeze in a quick walk during the one and only sunny part of the day.

Leftover pumpkins every where:

Adaline stayed warm in her weather guarded stroller:

Belle put all those pumpkins in the stroller herself!
The most unusual pumpkins I've ever seen:

Last rays of sun before the next shower started made the raindrops sparkle.

Thanksgiving 2010

My parents hosted a fantastic holiday feast this year!  We gathered at their house along with my sister, her kids, Travis' parents, and his sister.  The weather was great- we were able to take a brisk walk down the street to the coffee shop, and take family photos outside (a huge thank you to our out-of-town neighbors who loaned us the beautiful yard as a backdrop!)  It was a long day and Adaline was awake for most of it!

Stuffy Love

My great-aunt gave Adaline her first stuffed animal at my family baby shower and Adaline has taken it as one of her favorites.  Just look at this series of photos...

 I love her to pieces!

Seattle 2010

I had a 3-day conference in Seattle last weekend and couldn't even entertain the idea of leaving my baby for that long.  Bless my lovely husband because he understood and decided to join me so the family could be together!  I love him so much!  He and Adaline had a great time hiking all around the city while I was learning more about Precision Teaching.  I was able to join them one afternoon after my sessions ended early.  We enjoyed walking around Pike's Place Market and the waterfront.  What a beautiful place.  We're already trying to figure out when we can go back.  Oh...and we discovered that Adaline loves to fly!  She did so well on all the flights.  Wish I could say the same for sleeping in hotels....
