Sad Saturday

This afternoon we had to put down our little cat Elvis.  He was almost a year old.  His kidneys and liver shut down due to his feline leukemia, which we were warned might happen, but we had hoped for more time with him than we actually got.  He had a short life, but he had fun.  He and the dogs were great pals, and he seemed to enjoy cruising around the neighborhood.  We'll miss him, but we are happy to know he is out of pain and in a better place.

I'm SO sorry, Margo! :( And he was just a little one, too. I can't imagine how hard it would be to lose our Stewart...I know they're not people, but they become members of the family!

My heart aches for you! We had to put down our dog a few years ago, and we had friends bring us lasagna and casseroles like we had lost a family member. Wait, we HAD lost a family member! I'm so glad to hear that Elvis is peacefully resting now and enjoying kitty heaven :)
